02/13/18 (T) —Animal Hoarding: killing with kindness?—6pm at the Animal Rescue League, 5452 NE 22nd St, Des Moines, IA. Dr. Randall Lockwood, ACPA's Senior Vice President for Anti-Cruelty Special Projects will review new insights about the origins of animal hoarding and new approaches to community-based responses to this problem. The program will last one hour plus Q&A. Light appetizers will be served and a cash bar will be available. There is no fee, but RSVP is necessary.
